For Block Paving the process is usually as follows: 

Step 1: The paved area is first treated with fungicidal wash to eliminate any fungal spores, algae and weed growth.

Step 2: The area is then extensively cleaned using a professional rotary headed pressure cleaner to remove the build up of weeds, moss, algae and general dirt and grime that may have built up over time. Any oil and diesel stains would also be treated and removed at this stage.

Step 3: For the best possible job, we would then perform a Deep Clean. This involves using the Turbo Lance to blast as much muck, seeds and what's left of weeds and moss out of the joints as possible.   

Step 4: Pure kiln dried sand is then brushed into the joints to stabilise the paving from movement.

Step 5: An application of Smartseal acrylic block paving sealer is then sprayed* onto the block paving. This will increase the lifespan of your paving giving long lasting protection.

* The acrylic sealant is sprayed in a two coat application ensuring each individual block and sand is saturated and provides the most protective solution.
